Kayden's First Trip

We were in Memphis this past weekend. Overall it was a great trip with many kinks. They lost our bags from our one way flight from Denver to Memphis. Therefore the kids did not have any clothes. Then Kendal, Shelley, Ross and I all came down with Roto Virus. So we have not been feeling too well. My mom got a new fancy camera and took pictures with it and put them on my computer. I cannot figure out how to make them smaller to download them on the blog. So here is a link to look all the pictures...............

Off to Memphis

Pearl passed away yesterday morning. Therefore the entire family is making their first airplane ride to Memphis today. Some of my friends bought me a double stroller and had it shipped to my house. It came last week. Just in time. Thanks Alyson, Amanda, Becky, and Cali. We put it together last night and it looks like it is going to be great. Kendal was so excited to ride with her brother.

Buffalo Wings

For those of you who do not know, Ross' favorite food is buffalo wings. He was one of the first 50 customers at a New Buffalo Wild Wings and received a year of free wings from that location. Today he wanted us to eat dinner there and order Kendal her own set of wings to see if she would eat them. And of course she did! She had two Sweet Bar B Que wings. What a daddy's girl. She had fun at dinner because she got Buffalo horns, colors, and a balloon. She popped the balloon on the ride home. She said "Oh No" a dozen times. Thank God there were no tears. Needless to say we had a nice afternoon.

Chattfield State Park

We decided to visit Chattfield State Park this afternoon. We did not know it had a beach in which you could actually swim in the water. The water was a little chilly, but of course that did not stop Kendal. We were a little unprepared for swimming, but we let her play in the water anyway. She played in the water for about 30 minutes. Kayden napped the entire time. He must have loved being outside. It was a great view, but still not like being on Gulf of Mexico.

What we are up too...................

You can click on this link to see what we have been up to lately...........
Kendal is still into everything including her brother. Today she found a hot pink marker and put it all over her lips. She still loves playing outside. Kayden just loves to be held and look around. He definetly is more aware of his surroundings.

One Month

Kayden is now one month old. My how time flies by. Kendal sure is enjoying having him around. She loves on him too often and steals his pacifer anytime she can get. Kayden now weighs 7lbs and 8 0z. and 22 inches long. He is still pretty skinny, with big feet. We are enjoying every second.

Story Time at the Library

I took Kendal and Kayden to the library for story time this morning. Tegan met us there. Kendal immediately took her name tag off and put it on her forehead. They also made ice cream cones. Kendal had a little trouble sitting and listening to the story, but she was well behaved for the most part.

Family Outing

Grandy bought Kendal a book with great places to take preschoolers in the Denver area. One of the places was Westlands Park about 15 minutes miles south of our house. We took the kids yesterday. It had a great toddler area. It also had a rock climbing wall and water area that sprayed water. We will definetly go back. Kendal had a ball. Kayden slept the entire time we were there.

4 Weeks Old!

Kayden's First Party

Friday night we went to the Martinez's house for a bar-b-que. Estella and Abby loved holding Kayden. They loved "Baby Kayden". Kendal had a ball playing with all of Estella's toys. Christy's step mother, Grandmother Vicki, loved holding Kayden as well. Ross and I loved it because she held the baby AND played with all of the kids. It was great for us to get out of the house and let Kendal play with some friends. Estella and KaydenAbby and Kayden

3 Weeks

Kayden is now 3 weeks old. He is awake more. In the picture he has on booties and a blanket my friend Bridget made for him.
It has been hard for me to get to the computer to download pictures in the last two weeks. So I put together a shutterfly of things that have been happening. You can go to http://share.shutterfly.com/action/welcome?sid=9CbMWbRm3bPc&notag=1 to see all the pictures.
