Merry Christmas from Sumer

Sumer made me a PINK picture board for my office. She brought it to me today at work. I already hung it up and put pictures on it. I love it! I am sure I will get lots of fun comments about my PINK office.

Merry Christmas

We hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas. We sure did. Kendal and Kayden both were very good this year and Santa left fun toys for them. Kendal loved her new drum set and the basketball goal.

Playing with Estella

We took the kids to visit Estella. Santa came to her neighborhood, so we thought it would be fun to visit Santa and play. Santa also had one of his reindeers there. Kendal was much more interested in the reindeer and the slide rather than Santa. The girls had a good time. Unfortunately the family pictures and Santa pictures did not come out well.

Pacifiers

Both of my kids love their pacifiers. Kendal also loves it when Kayden lays in her bed. She loves to cuddle with him.

New Snow Pics

Yesterday around 2pm the snow stopped falling. Our neighbors were all shoveling their driveways and sidewalks. So when we put the kids down for their nap Ross and I went outside to check out the snow. Our neighbors informed us it will be a lot easier to shovel now with fresh wet snow rather than iced over and packed down snow. So we started shoveling. We did the driveway and the walk way to our front door. One of our neighbors had an motorized snow blower. So he blew off the sidewalk. Then our neighbor across the street was driving back and forth in the street trying to pack down the snow so people could drive. Ross and a few of the other guys had to help him get his truck out. In the meantime, Kendal began banging on the window when she woke. She wanted to come out and play. We stayed outside for a few hours, playing in the snow, hanging out with the neighbors, and celebrating with champagne. Ross chasing Kendal back to our driveway. Kendal making a snowball. She loves making snowballs and throwing them at us.

Mr Shovel Man
Kendal playing in the snow. She loved putting her hands and face in the snow. She also kept licking it. She said "Hmmmmmmmm Good!"

Mr. Man eventually woke up as well. So he got bundled up, and we pulled out the camping chairs to feed him.

Then we saw kids pulling each other on sleds and snowboards behind four wheelers. They were having a ball.

Holiday Blizzard Update

Well here are pictures after 24 hours of snow! All you can see is white. This will probably be in the top five of biggest storms in Denver. This is our front yard. You can see my Holiday flag covered. This is down our street.
This is our back yard. The snow is almost covering our garbage cans.
This is the table I took a picture of last night. Look at the difference.

This is our back yard. Nothing but white.

Holiday Blizzard 2006

This post is a long time awaiting. And yes we are in our first blizzard. Man it is crazy! The Govenor has declared us in emergency state, so people are suppose to stay in their homes. I went into work this morning and was sent home. Luckily I lost my keys and Ross had to come and get me. I know you are thinking "luckily", well I did not have to drive because I would not have been ready to drive in that mess. Ross took some pics of the kids in the snow and then I took some this evening after about 12 hours of snow fall. The snow is up to our front door. When you look outside all you can see is white. Ross shoveling snow so we could get his car in the garage.
The snow is up to the seats of our chairs in the backyard. The snow covering the wagon.

Can you see the snow piled up next to Ross' feet. That is the door to our backyard.
The snow almost covering Kendal's bike!
