Chuck E Cheese Bday Party

This past Saturday the kids were invited to a birthday party at Chuck E Cheese. It was a brand new one. It was huge and had tons of rides for my kids. It also had a blue screen where the kids could sing and dance and then were added to whatever was playing on the televisions. I am not sure what Kendal liked better the mini carousel or seeing herself on tv. I did not get many good pictures.

Mystery Pictures

I found a few mystery pictures on my camera. My camera was on the top shelve exactly where Kayden is getting other things. I have no idea how he got up there. According to Kendal she asked him to get up there and get her shell(probably taken away because Kayden was throwing it). I guess he decided to get the camera and paint. Lucky for Ross none of the paint was opened nor was the camera broken. This all happened while I was not home. Guess that high spot is no longer safe!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Getting along nicely

This past Sunday we had a wonderful afternoon with no fights. For the most part the kids do get along well. It is a good thing Kayden does whatever Kendal asks him to do. Such as go down the slide with me, jump over the sprinkler, get in the shopping cart, etc..........................

Worship in the Tent

For the month of July our church has been having worship outside in a tent. We have been having one service and then a group Sunday school. Last weekend we pulled out a mini parachute for the preschoolers. They had so much fun. Here is a few pictures of the kids playing with the parachute.




After Sunday School we would all eat lunch together under the tent. The preschoolers lead the congregation in the prayer before lunch.

Fancy Nancy Dress

Grandy bought Kendal a Fancy Nancy dress while she was here. She loves this dress. She does not want to wear anything but this dress. If we are at home and playing inside you can put money on it that she has this dress on.

New Bike

While Grandy and Paw Paw were visiting, Kendal was treated to a big girl bike. She was very hesitant about riding it at first, but once she got the hang of it she was very proud of herself. She asks to ride her bike just about everyday. I am sure it will not be long before Kayden will ride.

USA Olympic Training Center

One of the USA Olympic Training Center Sites is here in Colorado Springs. Sad to say, but I have not gone since we moved to CO nor since we moved to Colorado Springs. Since this is the Olympic Year and my parents will be traveling to China nesxt month I thought what better time to go. Trials were on all week and the week before we watched the women's gymnastics trials. The kids have loved watching the trials as well. The training center was beautiful and lots of fun. We were able to see men's gymnastics team, wrestling, and weightlifters training. I am extremely jealous that my parents will be in China, while we will be watching the games at home.



The did not let us in the pool, but Ross has been several times for meets and camps. The last time he was there in May we was able to see Michael Phelps and other top swimmer practice.

More Swimming

I finally found an outdoor pool here in Colorado I love! I have been looking for an outdoor pool which is close to the house that I can take the kids to by myself. The country club is just too far for a quick trip to the pool. I found one about 5 minutes from the house and I LOVE IT! I think we have gone 5 times in the last two weeks. Ross and I both happened to have an afternoon free so I was able to get a few pictures of the kids swimming. Kendal loves jumping and swimming to the side.
Yes, Ross did shave Kayden's hair again. Nothing nice to say so I will not say much!
