Tulips

In the front of our neighborhood we have tulips. They are beautiful. I have made a few attempts of getting a picture of Kendal with the flowers. These are the best shots I got.

Pancakes!

Ross decided we should have a wide selection of pancakes for breakfast this morning. He made strawberry pancakes first, then we had blueberry pancakes, and last but not least we had chocolate chip pancakes. Kendal and I sure loved breakfast!

Bubbles, swings, and rides

Kendal and I went with Ross today to swim practice. We decided to go to the park behind the Rec Center where his practice was. She had a fun time blowing bubbles, swinging, riding on the car, and going down the slide.

Mommy Gone

I had my first work trip this week. I went to Scottsdale, Arizona to visit a few Indain Reservations. I also had some free time to sit by the pool and catch up on some reading. We had great weather there and the scenery was beautiful. Ross and Kendal were on their own. The first two days were a little rough because it snowed and was too cold to play outside. Wednesday they made it to National Park and hiked to Bierstadt Lake. Here is a few picks they took while I was gone. Kendal likes to hide in the covers.

Dinner Guest

Tegan, Sumer, and Stacy came over for dinner last night. Tegan is so big and talks a ton. He was smiling and talking to Kendal. She loved him. She was definetly showing off for her dinner guests.

Playing Outside

Yesterday Kendal and I went to Target to buy her a wagon. I even put it together by myself, because if we had to wait for Ross it would never get done. We played outside all afternoon with her wagon, bubbles, and looking for rocks. The weather has been perfect here, so we took advantage.

Kendal Can Cook

This morning Kendal and I wanted pancakes. I let her help make the pancakes. The mess was not too bad and she had a great time.

Cool Horses

Our house backs up to many trails, parks, and a huge property with many horses. We often try to look at the horses, but they are too far away for Kendal to care. Today there were two white horses eating right by the fence. One even was interested in Kendal and stuck its nose through the fence to smell her. She loved it.

Happy Late Easter!

Happy Late Easter! I have had trouble trying to post this week, so this is a little late. We had a great Easter. We had Easter donuts for breakfast, Kendal played with her bubble Easter Basket, we took her to the park, we went to the Rockies baseball game, and then ate great Mexican food from one of our favorite places.

Ross was sooooooooo tired from the day he fell asleep on the floor while supposedly playing with Kendal.

Tu Tu
