Happy Mardi Gras

Happy Mardi Gras to all of Louisiana friends! We sure wish we could have made it to a parade or two. I am sure Kendal would have loved it. She loves her beads that were sent to her along with her first King Cake. She ate up her first piece rather quickly. I am sure we will have tons of good food when we visit in April!

Babysitting Tegan

Unfortunately our friend Stacy was in a very bad car accident while at work on Friday. He has been in the ICU trying to stablize. This means Tegan is not allowed to see his daddy. So Kendal and I went to babysit Tegan, so Sumer could spend sometime at the hospital. Kendal, Tegan, and I had a great time. We were happy to give Tegan some love so his mommy and daddy could be together. Please pray for Stacy so he can go home soon!

Kendal is now climbing on everything. If I am not careful she will try to climb into her highchair.

Kendal now loves to color. We did not have any crayons so we were letting her use our highlighters. We got crayons so now she can make some great art.

Kendal's new Potty!

Since Kendal has been able to poop in the big toilet we decided to buy her a training potty to make her more comfortable. I bought the potty a few weeks ago, but she has not had to poop while taking a bath for sometime now. So tonight she relaxed enough while taking a bath and needed to poop. So she used her new little potty tonight. It went rather well. No tears on the little potty.

Tegan Came Over Again!

Today I had a scrapbooking party at our house. Sumer and Tegan came to the party. Kendal has definetly warmed up to Tegan. She wanted to hug him and play with him. Here are a few shots of her and Tegan.

Anyone who is watching the weather knows it has been very cold here in Colorado. The high today was 10 degrees. Kendal has this very heavy jacket she wears in this weather. It is so thick she cannot walk with it. This is her riding in the car with her heavy coat.

Happy Valentine's Day!

This is Kendal's new Valentine dress made by Grandy and her new Valentine shoes given to her by her Hedrick Grandparents. She looks so cute and we love them! Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

13 Weeks

I am 13 weeks pregnant. I went to the doctor today and everything looks great. So here is a progression picture. I am still in my regular clothes. If you want to know if I have gained any weight or how much weight I have gained you can email me your weight and I will email you mine.

Tegan comes to play

Tegan and Sumer came to visit us today. I think the moms had more fun!

Kendal was more interested in Tegan today!

She actually wanted to sit with him.

New Play Area

I decided I was tired of having toys all over our living room, so I made Kendal a play area behind our lazy boy chair and next to the sofa. It has worked out great. She will play back there for hours. Too bad she does not like to clean up her toys.

A really nice dinner!

Ross, Kendal, and I went hiking last Saturday and the last bit of the hike did not go so well. Ross felt bad so he took us out to a really nice restaurant for dinner. Here are a few shots of Kendal in her dress from Pearl which she got at Chocolate Soup.

Kendal and I went visit Tegan. He has already grown so much. This was the first time she really actually tried to interact with him. She only liked him for a few minutes and then was off to play with his toys.

Today Ross, Kendal, and I went to watch the Superbowl with the Beck family. We had a great time. The kids had fun playing together.
