When I don't get my way!

Kendal has decided to start tantruming. This is what happened when I would not let her play in the refrigerator. Isn't she so sad!?!?!?!

My First Scrapbook Page

I have decided to take up scrapbooking as "MY" hobby. Something I can do alone or with some friends. Friday night we had two girls come and play with Kendal while I went to a scrapbook party. This is my very first page I made. This will go in Kendal's scrapbook which will be a book of all of her "Firsts". This book will be something I can add to for years to come. I had a great time.

Kendal Meets Tegan

Ross, Kendal, and I went to Sumer's parents' house today to watch the Bronco's stink it up and most importantly for Kendal to meet Tegan. She was interested in him for about two minutes and then was into everything else at the house. He is such a cute baby. He was so good and slept the whole time we were there.

Kendal is not very interested in posing for pictures, even with her new friend Tegan!

Kendal and Tegan. He sure liked sleeping in his car seat!

Kendal and Ross cheering are for the Bronco's who blew it. We actually thought we might be in a town with a winning football team. How exciting that would have been!

Kendal found Sumer's younger sister karoke machine. She liked the buttons and liked the microphone.

Kendal loved breathing into the microphone!

My new Cradle

Kendal got a cradle to put her babies in, but she obviously thinks it is for her to sit in. She is really learning to climb in and out of things. I am sure it will not be long before she is getting out of her crib.

Estes Park Weekend

Ross had a swim meet in Estes Park this weekend, so Kendal and I tagged along. We had a great time because the hotel had an indoor pool and was about five minutes away from the Rocky National Park. We were able to go to the park and look for big animals. Saturday evening the swim team had a dinner party to cheer on the Bronco's. Here are a few shots from the weekend.

Kendal was trying to help pack.

Kendal's favorite part of the hotel was walking up and down the hallway.

There was an indoor pool at the hotel. Kendal and I went swimming all weekend long. She absolutely loved it. She would climb out of the pool on the steps and walk to the side and jump into me. It was such a joy.

Kendal playing in the pool. She has not been in the pool since September and it only took her about five minutes to warm up to the pool.

Kendal found googles from one of the swim team kids. She absolutely loved them. She played with them all weekend. She even tried to put them on herself and me.

I can put the googles on all by myself. And now I want to where them in the bathtub.

When Kendal and I went to the Rocky Mountain National Park on Saturday we were able to pull the car up close enough for her to see these elk. She actually was very excited to watch them eat and walk around.

Climber

Kendal has learned how to climb on everything. She is a daredevil. This is what I found her doing when I walked back in the room from the kitchen this afternoon. She was very proud of herself for her new accomplish. Please be patient with me actually getting new posts up on the website and sending pictures out. Ross got an IPOD for Christmas and spends many hours on the computer downloading music to the IPOD, therefore there is no time for me to work on getting pictures onto the computer.

Happy Birthday Tegan

Our good friends Sumer and Stacy introduced their son into the world today. Happy Birthday to Tegan Gregory. He was born at 4:56pm Mountain Standard time. He is 6 lbs and 7 oz and 19 1/2 inches long. Sumer's due date was Jan. 24th, but Tegan was ready to come out. She went to the doctor at 1:15pm and the doctor said she was 5 centimeters dialated and she needed to go to the hospital. Her and Stacy rushed home to get their bags. When they arrived at the hospital 45 minutes later she was now 8 1/2 centimeters dialated. Not too much longer and it was time to push. It came on so fast she could not have any pain assistance. She is my new HERO! Congrats to you both. Tegan is amazing!

New Baby Tegan! Kendal cannot wait to play with him.

Eight Weeks Today

Today I am eight weeks pregnant. Ross and I went to the doctor on Friday and had a ultra sound. We got to see the baby's heartbeat. This is a picture of the ultra sound and my uterus is the dark black circle. The baby is the little grey mass laying in the uterus. The baby is about the size of a kidney bean. The doctor says everything looks great.

Baby IPOD

Aunt Shelley gave Kendal a Baby IPOD for Christmas. It plays lots of fun songs like Old Macdonald and I'm a Little Teapot. It is one of her favorite toys. She carries it around the house and dancing to the music. This is her in her pajamas listening to her music right before bed.

New Year's Eve at the Park

It was such a beautiful day here in Colorado. The high was 65 degrees. We decided to take a walk to the park in our neighborhood. Since Kendal can walk now we thought she would enjoy playing. And she did. She liked walking around looking for sticks and rocks. We let her swing and go down the slide. She sure thought she was cool going on all the big girl stuff. We enjoyed having a relaxing day. Happy New Years!

Kendal enjoyed the big girl slide. She wanted to go down it over and over again. She tried to climb up it herself, but kept slipping down.

Kendal really loved the swing. This was her first time to be in a big girl swing.

Potty Time

Kendal loves to take her bath every evening. She also get so relaxed in the bath tub that she goes poop. She has done this eight different times. We decided we would start pulling her out of the tub when she was about to go and put her on the toilet to do her business. The past two times it has not worked out as well because we would pull her out and she would poop on the floor. Well this week she did it. She pooped in the potty! I was so happy not to have to clean up poop in the bath tub. So I put her back in the tub to finish her bath and she finished her business. Oh yes she pooped more in the tub!!!!!!!
