Merry Christmas!!!!!!!!!!

We have had an amazing holiday season this year. We hope everyone has enjoyed this magical time of year. It is chilly and snowy here in Colorado, so it seems crazy to see other blogs with people putting trees up with sandles and shorts.

I am sorry for all of the posts at once, but I know if I did not do them tonight they would not get posted.

Christmas Day

Christmas Day was definetly fun this year. Kendal actually understood who Santa was and what he did. Ross and I went to wake her up and told her Santa came, she immediately sat up and said, "He did?!?!?!". Santa had put a path of Christmas lights up leading from her room to the toys he brought. They both slowly crept down the stairs and then headed straight to their toys. I did not get many pictures of the kids playing with their toys, I must have been playing too much. I hope everyone had a magical Christmas, as we certainly did.

Kendal got a Dora Princess Castle, Little Einsteins AND Pat Pat the Rocket, and a Dora Mermaid Doll. She has been one happy camper the last few days with her new toys.As for Mr. Man, he received a race track, a little people car garage, and tons of cars. But the little guy just wants to play with anything Kendal has. He just loves to see her scream and over react. I can only imagine how he will torment the girls when he gets to kindergarden.Here is Kayden and his best friend Diego checking out the cats in our yard.Here is the little stud muffin eating his snack, before getting his real clothes on (who let that kid eat on my sofa?????)The sweetness of my kids.

Woodmoor Christmas Party

Earlier in the month Ross' swim team had their Christmas Party. We had a nice time visiting with all of the swim team families. Kendal loved eating the candy and Kayden loved playing the piano.

Gingerbread House Building

In preparing for Christmas, I asked Kendal one day what she would like to do for Christmas and she replied, "Build a Gingerbread House." So while my parents and sister were out here over the weekend they built a Gingerbread House and Gingerbread tree. Everyone enjoyed the activity and eating the candy.



As for Kayden, he took the opportunity to steal cookies while everyone was busy. This little guy is so sneaky. He waits for the right time to steal cookies, open ALL the wrapped gifts under the tree, and swipe Kendal's toys!!!!!!!! Just look at his face.........

The North Pole

We took the kids to the North Pole on Sunday. I was not sure what it would really be like, but since it was only 30 minutes from our house how can you resist. As soon as we got there we went to see Santa! Kendal of course loved him and Kayden of course did not. Kendal had a nice conversation with him and let him know she would like a Dora castle for Christmas. Then we went to check out the rest of the park. It is a small amusement park. It had many great rides for people of all ages. The weather was perfect. Kendal really enjoyed riding on ALL of the rides, even the fast ones. We will definetly be going back to the North Pole.

A Shepard's Story

The children at our church did a musical of "A Shepard's Story." Kendal was asked to be an angel for the first and last song with the other mostly 3 and a few 4 year olds. They sang a song "Good News." I did not get very many good pictures from the performance, since all the kids were so busy. She did sing some of the words. Her favorite part was getting to bow at the end.
