Yesterday around 2pm the snow stopped falling. Our neighbors were all shoveling their driveways and sidewalks. So when we put the kids down for their nap Ross and I went outside to check out the snow. Our neighbors informed us it will be a lot easier to shovel now with fresh wet snow rather than iced over and packed down snow. So we started shoveling. We did the driveway and the walk way to our front door. One of our neighbors had an motorized snow blower. So he blew off the sidewalk. Then our neighbor across the street was driving back and forth in the street trying to pack down the snow so people could drive. Ross and a few of the other guys had to help him get his truck out. In the meantime, Kendal began banging on the window when she woke. She wanted to come out and play. We stayed outside for a few hours, playing in the snow, hanging out with the neighbors, and celebrating with champagne.
