Friday Grandy and Paw Paw took the kids and I to the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo. It has been my favorite zoo trip. Both kids had a blast. Kayden loved watching all of the animals, especially the monkeys. He would wave and say "Hi". It was so cute. Kendal enjoyed seeing animals she has learned about in books and off of the show "Go Diego, Go". The kids had so much fun Ross and I took the kids back today, so he could see how wonderful it was.
The first thing we did was feed the giraffes. Both kids held crackers out for the giraffes to take out of their hands. Neither one of them were scared. Actually today Kayden was holding his hand out and trying to grab the giraffes tongue.
The monkeys were Kayden's favorite. He loved watching this particular moneky swing all over the place.

This is a spectacled bear which Kendal knew exactly what is was since Diego and Dora helped save one on one of their shows.
Here is Kayden laughing at the oranguntans.
Kendal's favorite were the three hippopatamus. When we took them back today she kept asking to see them.
They had an area with free flying birds. You can hold a popsicle stick with peanut butter and birdseed. Then the birds will fly to you to eat off the stick. Kayden was trying to grab the bird and Kendal was a little scared.

There was a mommy gorilla with its baby sitting right at the window. At first she was sucking her fingers and then she started feeding it. Kendal loved the baby gorilla.

They both enjoyed the gorillas throughly.
