A Day in Canon City

Saturday after the 4th of July we headed south to Canon City, CO. Ross, Shelley, Shaun, and I had a 9am white water rafting trip. My parents took Kendal and Kayden to Buckskin Joe's while we went rafting. The kids rode on a train overlooking the Royal Gorge. We met back at the rafting place had lunch and then headed to the Royal Gorge. The Royal Gorge Bride is the world's highest suspension bridge. It is 1,178 feet over the Arkansas River. Absolutely amazing! There is a theme park built around the bride. We had a great time. The kids went on a burro ride, in the petting zoo, and we rode a metal car down the Gorge to the bottom. We had to stand in line for 45 minutes to go back up and the girl let us ride in the very front going back up which was awesome. Here are some funny and cute pictures from our adventures in Canon City. The Royal Gorge.

Kayden's favorite part was the petting zoo.
